Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children // Ransom Riggs

I am always wary about books as hyped up as this one, especially if the conversation stems from a movie adaptation. However, this book was a really pleasant surprise and deserved a lot of that hype. I haven't seen the movie, but the book had a really interesting interpretation of world building. Portals, magical gifts, and children that never grow old? I was hooked and sped through it in a day. If you're looking for something to replace your annual Harry Potter readathon, definitely consider Riggs' magical world.

Leave me a comment if you've read the book and seen the movie! Should I watch it?
